The Wisconsin U-23 Select Side team is a unit comprised of the best players from each respective team in the Wisconsin Rugby Union under the age of 23. This team competes against other Midwest state's Select Side teams at an LAU tournament sometime in late April on an annual basis. As of 2008, the Wisconsin U-23 Select Side team has won the LAU tournament 4 of the past 5 years. There are also U-20 and U-18 teams which younger Parkside players are encouraged to tryout for. Due to the Parkside Rugby team's brief history, we haven't always had the luxury or organization to send our best players to the tryout camps. In more recent years however, Parkside has been fortunate enough to have some of its players selected for the team.
